Kummanam Rajasekharan urges AP Govt. to help Ayyappa devotees from AP
Hyderabad: Sabarimala Ayyapa Seva Samajam will open Ayyappa Seva Kendras in all four Souther states inorder to provide basic facilities like drinking water, food ,accomodation and medical aid to Ayyappa devotees.It is painful to note that Central Govt. and Kerala State Govt. are continuously neglecting Ayyapa devotees.The latest estimated numbers is around fifty million.Forty percentage of them are from Andhra Pradesh.The number is steadily increasing every year.
Sabarimala Seva Samajam a voluntary organisation registered as a public charitable trust is devoted for the welfare and well being of Ayyappa Devotees is extending all facilities to devotees from different states to Sabarimala-In bus stands road junctions, public places and in temple premises.
Samajam will open Seva Kendras in Sabarimala, Pampa, Nillakkal, Erumeli, Pandalam, Perinad and other main 50 places. Hundreds of volunteers will be engaged to distribute food, drinking water etc, round the clock to serve and save Ayyappa devotees.
Government should provide sufficient land atleast 200 acres immediately to provide basic amenities to devotees who are suffering currently under the gross negligence of authorities on their way to Sabarimala.
Sabarimala Seva samajam demands AP Government to initiate meetings with all guruswamies, leaders of various Ayyapa organisations and Ayyapa temple authorities to discuss and find out a way to solve the problems faced by Ayyapa pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh.The Andhra govt. should take up the issues with Kerala Govt. and settle the issues prevailing among Andhra Ayyappa devotees.AP Government should deploy atleast 1000 Police personnels in Sabarimala to help the Telugu devotees who have language difficulties in Sabarimala.
