MUMBAI: The four-day-long coordination meeting between Sangh – BJP  concluded near Bhayander in neighbouring Thane district on Sunday with the prospect of mid-term polls in the country being discussed prominently.

The closed door “Samanvay Baithak” held at the Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini in Uttan was attended by top leaders from the BJP such as L K Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Gopinath Munde and other Sangh Parivar leaders including Sarsanghachalak K S Sudarshanji.

Since mid-term polls in the country look very likely, this issue was discussed at length and all organisations were asked for inputs as to how the polls should be tackled, sources said here.

Party leaders in Delhi had earlier said the meeting would discuss how the Sangh could help the BJP, which party general secretary Arun Jaitley says has launched itself into an election mode, in the future with a minimum role in its day-to-day affairs.
