Revathi Pattathanam on October 25
Revathi Pattathanam, the annual scholarly debate, will be held at the famous Tali Siva temple here on October 25.
Popular playback singer, Padmashree KJ Yesudas will inaugurate the celebrations, in which scholars from across the State will participate, organising committee chairman, TM Sarvothaman Nedugadi told reporters here on Tuesday While Zamorin King, PKS Raja will grace the occasion, Pandit Azhvancheri Thambrakkal will be the chief guest.
The day-long proceedings will start with a panchavadyam at the temple.
The Krishnageethi award, comprising of cash besides a statuette and a citation, would be presented to Tirur Thuncha Memorial Trust member, CK Warrier, while the Shetrakala award would be given to Guruvayur Kalanilayam member, Naryananan Namboodiri.
