Andhra CM keeps his promise, Unlike our Devaswom Minister

published on December 4, 2009

Hyderabad: Here in Kerala we have a Devaswom Minister who boycotts the invitation to participate in the state conference of Temple Protection Samithi (Kshetra Samrakshana Samithi) and rushes to Church to prove his Secular credentials.

It’s heartening to note that the new Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister who replaced hardcore Evangelist Samuel Reddy after his death had kept his promise to inaugurate the ’Viswa Santhi Yatra’ organised by Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam(SASS) in Hyderabad.

The work carried out by Ayyappa Seva Samajam would greatly benefit the devotees, stated Andra Chief Minister K Rosaiah. The Andra Chief Minister was present to flag off the Vishvashanti Yatra at a function organised by Ayyapa Seva Samajam  at Hyderabad.

There are currently around 60 Seva Kendra in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andra Pradesh and other Southern States of India. He aso stated that he was eagerly looking forward for his next pilgrimage  to Sabarimala.

The Ayyappa Seva Samajam General Secretary Kummanam Rajashekaran informed that the Samajam plans to expand its operations by opening centers in other states as well. Local commities would be set up in each district to oversee the working. Providing drinking water, food, medical attention and other basic amenities would be provided free of cost to the ayyappa devotees he added.

At the function held at Inder Park, K.Rosaiah also unveiled the the special supplement about the Vishvashanti Yatra release by ‘Janmabhumi’. The supplement contains detailed information about the Seva Kendra centers in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh.
