Madhya Pradesh shows the way- Sanskrit Compulsory in Schools

Bhopal: Once again Madhya Pradesh shows the way to other states by making teaching of Sanskrit compulsory in all government and private schools from Class I to V. Education minister Laxman Singh Gaud said the order would take effect from the next academic session starting April. “The learning of Sanskrit is the core of Indian culture and heritage. I am fulfilling a long-standing demand,” Gaud added.

In Kerala, Number of Arabic studying students are multiplying every year, New Arabic Teachers are being recruited in Government Schools every year. At the same time students who opt for Sanskrit are dwindling down each academic year and so the post for Sanskrit Teachers.
