Congress and it’s Dirty Tricks!

via HARAN.B.R published on November 1, 2007

The biggest and the latest joke in the political imbroglio in Karnataka is the petition submitted by two “writers” U.R.Ananthamurthy and Girish Karnad to the Governor Rameshwar Thakur, stating that, the latest alliance formed by JD(S) & BJP is not as per the mandate and that it should not be allowed to form the government. One would like to ask these two “intellectuals”, Whether the present UPA government at the center has got the mandate? If at all there is a mandate, it is only for BJP at the center as well as in Karnataka, as the people have voted it as the single largest party. These two “secularists” kept quiet when the opportunistic alliance of Congress & JD (S) was formed immediately after the elections giving scant regard for the mandate given by the people. They also kept quiet when H.D.Kumaraswamy parted ways with Congress and formed an alliance with BJP 20 months back. Even when he refused to hand over the government to BJP as per the agreement a month back, these writers maintained a deafening silence.

Now, when the BJP is poised to form its first ever government in Southern India, these men are up in arms against it. It is very clear that these men are driven by the Congress leaders from behind and it is yet another “dirty trick” played by Congress in addition to the other stinking tricks being played by the governor in delaying the inevitable. All Constitutional experts are of the opinion that the Governor has no other option but to invite BJP to form a government and ask it to prove its majority in the floor of the assembly. Instead, the governor is waiting for instructions from the center, which in turn is waiting for the Extra Constitutional Authority to come back from China.

In the last three and a half years, we have seen third-rate dirty tricks played by the Congress in thwarting the formations of BJP/NDA governments in Goa, Jarkhand and Bjhar and the same is now played in Karnataka. Apart from getting the help of it’s chosen governors (who act as the slaves of 10 Janpath) and a large section of the mainstream pseudo-secular media (which act as the sycophants of 10 Janpath), the Congress has started to rope in stin(K)g operators and writers to aid and abet its unconstitutional dirty-tricks.

One thing is very clear. The UPA, Left, other P-Sec parties, Leftist & P-sec intellectuals, mainstream media and anti-National NGO industry, the self-styled activists, Missionaries and Jihadis have all developed cold feet and are afraid of the increasing number of BJP ruled states and hence they are united in trying to thwart the formation of BJP governments. These “Secular Cowards” do not have the courage to play a straightforward game and hence resort to unconstitutional methods to please one extra constitutional authority, which is “alien” to our country by all means. Cheers to Indian Secularism!
