Congress protest by Beating, Tearing and Burning Lord Ganapathy

via HK published on November 14, 2007

Thiruvananthapuram:Portrayal of Lord Maha Ganapathy’s picture with the head of Chief minister Achuthanandan by congress is the latest episode of Hindu Humiliation in the state.

Farmer’s wing of Congress deliberately chose the picture of Ganapathy in their protest march against Palm Oil import in the state. The protest march led by former Cultural affairs minister and Senior Congress leader Karthikeyan and M A Vahid MLA crossed all limits of decency by standing aloof by witnessing the burning of Ganapathy’s picture by the congress workers.

The workers at first broke Coconut infront of Ganapathi’s picture, Then slammed at the picture with saplings of coconut trees and finally they teared off the picture and set it to fire!

HK Would like to ask the Congress leadership

1)Why Vahid MLA couldn’t come up with the picture of Prophet depicted by Danish cartoonist for this protest march?

2)Will the Congress leaders dare to ridicule the picture of Jesus or Mary in a similar way?

3) Whether Congress too want to join the Communist bandwagon and secure the Minority vote by ridiculing Hindu gods?

4)A Congress leader from Karnataka filed a case recently against a BJP leader, just because he questioned the legitimacy of Sonia Gandhi-If you cannot even tolerate that ,why expect that you can go Scott free by ridiculing Hindus

5)Will you tolerate the burning of the pictures of Mahathma Gandhi or Jawaharlal Nehru?

Hindu Organizations should immediately file case in court for this attempt to ridicule the Majority community in a most uncivilized manner. Congress leaders should apologize openly for the disrespect shown to Hindu gods and hurting the sentiments of Millions of Hindus across the world
