The Bajrang Dal has launched a movement to protect the Goumaata (cows), sacred to the Hindus through the ages. The Dal’s national co-convener Subash Chouhan told news reporters here on Saturday that a rally was held at Hinjili, the constituency of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, in which hundreds of people showed their solidarity over the Dal’s demand to stop cow slaughter.
