GURUVAYUR: BJP leader and former Union minister Dhananjaya Kumar has exhorted the CPM state leadership, especially state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan to tell the party workers to stay away from politics of violence.

Otherwise the BJP will be forced to retaliate, he said. The BJP leadership has restrained its workers from violence for the sake of peace and communal and social harmony but it does not mean that BJP was afraid of the CPM, Dhananjaya Kumar said.

The dissidence in the CPM and the intra-party issues within the Left Front have affected the development of the state and the people of Kerala will react to this through ballots, he said.

The BJP will take the initiative for a third front in the state to save the people of Kerala from the clutches of both the LDF and the UDF governments.

BJP district president Sreeshan Adiyat and BJP Guruvayur Mandalam president Ezhuvappadi Sreekumar also attended the press meet. Earlier, Dhananjaya Kumar offered prayers at the Guruvayur Sree Krishna temple.
