Friends and Foes shower Praises on Modi

Praises and Best Wishes are flowing to Gandhi Nagar to congratulate Narendra Modi from all parts of the World and Nation. Praises were showered by both Friends and Foes

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called the Chief Minister over phone and congratulated him on his victory.

“It is a great victory for him (Narendra Modi), it is a remarkable victory. I do not grudge him the victory,” Congress spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi said

AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa today said Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s victory in the Assembly elections had brought hope to people that “India could still be saved from the clutches of unscrupulous power mongers.”

In a congratulatory message to Modi, a copy of which was circulated to the media she said ” I have no doubt that under your strong and inspiring leadership, Gujarat will rise to greater heights of all round progress and development.” “Your spectacular victory has brought hope and cheer to the vast majority of people in this nation who now believe that all is not lost and that India can still be saved from the clutches of unscrupulous power mongers,” she added.

The ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in Punjab today congratulated its alliance partner BJP for its performance in the assembly elections in Gujarat. SAD Working President Sukhbir Singh Badal congratulated the BJP and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendar Modi for its return to power.

“This is people’s rebuff to Congress’s attempts to communalize polity,” Sukhbir said in his message. The SAD has also sent congratulatory messages to BJP President Rajnath Singh, senior party leaders Atal Behari Vajpayee and L K Advani and Modi, a party spokesman said here.

Former BJP leader Keshubhai Patel has congratulated the Modi on BJP’s victory in the assembly elections today.”I congratulate Narendra Modi for BJP’s victory. For the interests of the people, both the ruling and opposition parties should work together to take Gujarat forward on the road of development,” Keshubhai said in a statement here.

As soon as Gujarat Assembly polls threw up a remarkable victory for the party, BJP spokesperson Ravishankar Prasad said it was a win of the ‘Team BJP’ led by Modi.”Team BJP fought the elections with vigour and Modi has emerged as the Man of the Match. He has become the Dhoni of the party,”

In response to the question of a reporter on Paraises showered on him by hi senemies as well, He replied back in the usual Modi style

“Sab ki badhai swikar karta hu, pradhan mantri ne bhi badhai di aur sab partyo ne bhi badhai di hai……aur agar aap(media) bhi muze badhai dena chahte hai to mai swikar karta hu agar aapme woh jajba hai……….aur agar aap pidit hai to mai kuch nahi kar sakta hu!!!”
