Treatment denied;Ayyappa Devotee from Tamilnadu died
Kottayam: Denial of treatment by Kottayam Medical Collge resulted in the death of an Ayyappa Devotee.
Gajendran (40), native of Kovilpakkom, Tamil Nadu. Gajendran was admitted to the hospital after complaining of uneasiness at Chengannoor on his way to Sabarimala. They discharged him saying there are no ventilator and oxygen facilities in the hospital. The doctor told him to go to some private hospital for further treatment. Gajendran, who walked down the steps from the second floor, collapsed near the enquiry counter and died.
Hindu organisations intensified protest against this stepmotherly treatment to Hindu devotees even in Hospitals.Various organisations demanded immediate action against those who are responsible for this.
