Congress allegation on SSCP, A ‘White Lie’- Former Shipping Minister

Siliguri: Former Union Shipping minister and BJP MP, Mr Shatrughan Sinha, today said that “My ministry did never clear the SSCP project. Rather we asked experts to scrutinise the project’s impact on the environment and our internal securityâ€
Sinha was talking to reporters here in reference to Congress allegation that the project was actually cleared by the previous NDA government, the former Union shipping minister termed the allegation as a ‘white lie’. He was in Siliguri to attend the BJP youth wing rally
