Ban cow slaughter in all states : Ashok Singhal

Varanasi, Feb 14 (PTI) Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) President Ashok Singhal has said that all states should impose a ban on cow slaughter respecting the Supreme Court ruling in this regard. Talking to reporters here yesterday the firebrand VHP leader said the government should respect the feelings of the Hindu community and show will power in ensuring such a ban. “If five-six state governments could ban cow slaughter why the others were not doing the same”, he wondered and added that Hindu community alone could bring the Government under pressure to impose this ban
