Patriots’ Forum petition on Sachar Report, GOI fined by Delhi High Court
New Delhi
:
Delhi
High Court fined Government of India Rs. 10,000 for failing to come
up with an affidavit, for the second time now, in reply to writ petition filed
by New Delhi-based Patriots’ Forum challenging Sachar Committee report.
The fine would be passed on to the
petitioners to meet the expenses of the litigation. The petition debunks the
parameters used to determine backwardness of Muslims as unscientific and
accuses Retd Justice Sacahar indulging in Supresso Veri, suggesto falsi
technic.
Patriots’ Forum is being represented by
Senior Counsel P.N. Lekhi, who has graciously extended his services free of
cost, in the interest of the nation. What, however, is interesting is that
Patriots’ Forum’s petition has drawn five adverse interveners across
Secularists-Islamist spectrum.
 These include Gandhian Nirmala Deshpande
(Gandhi had no qualms about revival of Muslim rule in India), pseudo-Ambedkar organisation (Ambedkar
believed in exchange of population whereby all Muslims would be repatriated to Pakistan), Jamaat-e-Islami, a Christian
foundation, a rich Delhi
based Muslim charity group. It clearly shows how well networked the
Marxist-Muslim brigade is, and they have co-opted other people. Its not be
unlikely that Sachar is a tool of these forces, rather than master of the
report.
Sadly, no person or group has yet come forward in favor of Patriots’
Forum as as intervenor.
