COIMBATORE : Hitting out at the CPI(M) for  murdering RSS-BJP activists in Kannur, Kerala, the BJP Tamil Nadu unit today demanded the center to ban CPI(M) immediately.

“The CPI(M) started the murdering BJP-RSS activists without any provocation and they should realise that there would be equal reaction and retaliation as no one will remain silent anymore,” BJP’s Tamil Nadu unit vice-president H Raja told reporters here.

“We demand an apology from the CPI(M) for the attacks that five lives and demand that the Centre ban the party immediately,” he said.

On the incidents of violence before the CPI(M) party headquarters at Delhi, he claimed BJP workers, who were demonstrating peacefully, had retaliated when they were attacked by CPI(M) workers and wanted to know why CPI(M) leaders Prakash Karat and Sitaram Yechury were “silent” on the violent incidents in Kerala.
