Samarasta Sammelan in Gannaur

Noted Valmiki Sant Baba Prakash Shah organised a Samajik Samarasta Sammelan at his Ashram in Gannaur, Haryana on March 30. The Sammelan was presided over by Swami Dayananda Saraswati of Delhi and the founder of the Art Living Sri Sri Ravishankar was distinguished guest on the occasion. Shri Dinesh Chandra, Uttar Kshetra Pracharak of RSS was also present.

Sri Sri Ravishankar in his speech said that the Hindus world over look at the Hindus living in India with lot of hopes. Therefore, if the Hindus of India remain divided and weak, it would benefit none, neither the Hindus nor the country. He said drawing inspiration from the life of Shri Ram, we should materialised the concept of Ramrajya where everybody was equal. Appreciating the service activities being carried out by the RSS, he said we should have inspiration from the Sangh and should cooperate in this divine task of serving the downtrodden.

Baba Prakash Shah said, no matter he was born in a so-called untouchable caste, as a saint he visits all the Mutts, Ashrams, temples and the offices of religious organisations and he gets tremendous respect from everywhere. He said the old conventions are broken and people are coming closer.

Shri Dinesh Chandra said the Sammelan would spread the message of Shri Ram to the masses. He stressed the need to organise such Sammelans in every parts of the country. He said every citizen of the country should have respect to the nation. Appreciating the efforts of Baba Prakash Shah, he said the RSS supports all the organisations that are working for strengthening social harmony.
