Move to take out march to Sukumar Azhikode’s house

THRISSUR: The Thrissur district committee of the Bharatheeya Abhibhashaka Parishad ( BAP) will organise a march of its members, likeminded people and Gandhians to the residence of critic Sukumar Azhikode at Eravimangalam here in a few days. Talking to reporters here on Saturday, Parishad officebearers B Gopalakrishnan, Ravikumar Uppath and V Giri said that the march is to protest against the reported demand made by Azhikode for an inquiry into the sources of income and other activities of Mata Amrithanandamayi Math.

They said that Azhikode should tender a public apology for casting blame upon Mata.They pointed out that Azhikode who lives in a five star-facility house and travels in a luxurious car should reveal his source of income. They said that Azhikode, who claims to be a Gandhian is leading a lifestyle that is shameful to a Gandhian. They alleged that Azhikode had accepted valuable presents, including a luxury car, from a MP. The Parishad demanded Azhikode to reveal the MP’s name as the public would like to know about him.
