Jammu bandh 35th days and agitation enters 59th days continues burning violence in old city, around prade chowk, the situation by and large remained peaceful through out Jammu.

3 militants infiltrate from kanachak sector in Jammu, in khaki uniform. A civilian sultan ali fired three rounds in air from his 12 bore gun at village Mishriwala Kot Bhalwal after he claimed his wife absented movement of militants around his house late night. Pakistan army provided covering fire of the militants. The militants reportedly hired a three wheeler, killed its driver. They have taken refuge in a house at chinore held four children and 1 woman of the family as hostage. Three civilians and 2 security people were killed by militant’s indiscriminate firing security forces have surrounded. The house and are avoiding damage to hostages. There is news of death of one militant, which is confirmed by SSP Jammu.

Muslim Rashtrya Manch leaders hoisted Tricolor in Srinagar (at Lal Chowk) supporting the agitation launched by Sangarsh Samiti the chairman of the Manch said that the land should he restored to the SASB immediately as it was a matter of faith for Hindus and Muslims should not create hurdles.
