ATS takes U turn, blames it on Media
Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad acting as per the dictates of Congress took a U turn now, from their earlier stand that it was Col Srikant Prasad Purohit who supplied RDX for Samjhauta Express blast in February 2007.
Â
On Saturday itself, public prosecutor Ajay Misar representing the ATS had told a Nashik court that RDX was used in the Samjhauta Express blast. Forensic analysis report of the Samjhauta Express blast had said that the material used in the blast was a highly flammable cocktail of fuel oils, potassium chlorate and sulphur. Delhi Police and Haryana Police who probed it had then confirmed that it is the handiwork of Jihadi terrorists.
Â
Severe action should be taken against Ajay Misar who defamed a Army officer with such serious unsubstantiated allegations. Anti Terrorism Squad is playing with fire when they resort to such cheap gimmicks to win the confidence of Jihadi elements in the upcoming Loksabha poll for Congress.
