Sandeep’s parents visit Taj hotel, pay homage to their son
MUMBAI:The parents of slain National Security Guard (NSG) Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan visited the Taj Hotel in south Mumbai to pay homage to their son, who fell victim to the November 26 terror attack.
Former ISRO officer K Unnikrishnan and his wife Dhanalakshmi spent less than half an hour on the sixth floor of the hotel yesterday where their son breathed his last.
The visit was a quiet affair as per instructions of the couple.
Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan suffered a fatal bullet injury while fighting with a terrorist holed up on the sixth floor of Taj hotel.
He had led a team of ten NSG commandos to flush out the terrorists holding hostages.
