Panvel:The kin of 26/11 martyrs Smita Salaskar and Shirish Karkare praised Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for its contribution in guiding youths towards the right
path.
Vijay Salaskar's wife Smita and Hemant Karkare's younger brother Shirish
were the chief guests at a RSS rally in panvel on sunday. Tukaram Ombale's
daughter Vaishali was also present on this occasion. Noted music director
Shridhar Phadke presided over the rally. Salaskar, Karkare and Omble were gunned
by terrorists last year.
"It is shameful that an illiterate killed my husband we should perform our
duties to avoid such incidents. The youths can get inspiration from RSS on how
to perform their duties," said Smita Salaskar.
Shirish Karkare said that the middle class will have to perform their national
duties well in future. "Every citizen should perform his duties. RSS can
inspire the youths for patriotism," he said.
RSS Joint general secretary Bhaiyaji Joshi asserted that international laws and
weapons should be used to tackle terrorism.
