Jihadi Violence erupted in many North Indian Cities following Milad-un-Nabi processions. But when it comes to Movies like Slum Dog Millionaire Hindus are the sole reason for all the troubles in Bharath!

Ujjain- MP

“The trouble started when a few people returning from Milad-un-Nabi procession, on being stopped from going on a particular road, pelted stones at police,” Inspector General of Police Pawan Jain said.

“The police baton-charged and used teargas to control them. They burnt houses of another community,” Jain said.

“The police opened fire to take control of the situation. At least 37 people have been reported injured and one person was killed. The youth succumbed while being rushed to the district hospital. The situation is tense but under control,” Jain said

Lucknow – UP

Five people were injured when members of the Sunni community clashed with the police after being banned from taking out a religious procession here on Tuesday, the authorities said.

“There was a pitched battle when we tried to stop their Julus-e-Mohammadi procession” on the Shahmina road, deputy inspector general of police N K Srivastava said.

“We resorted to force when people started throwing stones at the police and damaging public vehicles,” he said.According to officials, the Julus-e-Mohammadi procession of Sunnis was banned in the mid-1980s in the state following violence between Shias and Sunnis.

BAREILLY- UP

Atleast seven people were injured, many shops and vehicles were torched and police station and policemen were attacked as communal tension erupted in this sensitive district in Uttar Pradesh during Barawafat procession this morning.

The tension broke over confusion over the route of the procession in Faridpur area on Bareilly-Lucknow highway about 35 km from the district headquarters which saw members of both the communities facing each other.

Several vehicles and at least half a dozen shops were set on fire in the violence, which erupted when a group of Muslims taking out the Barawafat procession entered Faridpur area.
