Senior RSS leader Ram Singh Thakur dies
Hamirpur: Senior RSS leader Ram Singh Thakur, who was ailing for the last one month, expired at Dayanand Medical College Hospital, Ludhiana, on MOnday evening. He was ninety-six and was heading the history rewriting wing of the RSS these days. He was based at Neri in Hamirpur district.
Thakur was cremated at his native village of Jhandwin in Hamirpur district this afternoon. Prior to that, a condolence meeting was held at Neri campus of Thakur Jagdev Chand History Re-writing Organization, Neri. He joined RSS in his early age after doing MA in history from Panjab University, Lahore and refused to join the government service in a senior capacity.
