Role of Ramchandra Das Paramhans in Ayodhya Moovement

Hindu’s all over the world are eager to know the 60 year old land dispute case verdict from the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on Friday, 24th September, 2010 . We are going to tell about Late Sh. Ramchandra Das Paramhans’s contribution in the liberation of Lord Ram’s birth place from the hands of invader’s. He is one of the two original petitioner’s who filed the land dispute case in 1950, whose verdict is coming on 24th Sep., 2010, after a long period of 60 years.

Sh. Ramchandra Das Paramhans, was born in Chappra district in Indian state of Bihar. His original name before joining the Ashram life is Chandreshwar Tiwari. In 1934, he went to Ayodhya and joined Digambar Akhara, the most famous congregation of Naga Sadhu’s.  

By 1948, present movement for liberation of Ram Janambhoomi started. In the intervening night of December 22 and 23, 1949 Hindu’s under the leadership of Late Sh. Ramchandra Das Paramhans, installed the Bhagwan Ram’s moorthy inside the structure constructed by Babar after demolishing Ram temple. This starts the Hindu’s worship in the demolished structure. No Mslim has offered Namaz in the past 125 years.  

According to Government of India rules, if no Namas offered in a Masjid for more than three years that place ceases the tag of a Masjid.It was Late Sh. Ramchandra Das Paramhans, who filed first petition in March, 1950, on which court is going to give a verdict on 24th Sep., 2010.In 1986, it was under his plea the then District Judge of Ayodhya Sh. K.M.Pandey ordered the unlocking of gates of the structure where Ram idol was installed in 1949.  

In 1984, when Ram Janamboomi Nyas “ a Trust “ was started under the aegis of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Sh. Ramchandra Das Paramhans was elected as its First Chief.Till his death on 31st July, 2003, Sh Ramchandra Das Paramhans devote his entire life for the liberation of Ram Janambhoomi and construction of Bhagwan Ram’s temple at his birth place.  

Sh Ramchandra Das Paramhans contributions to the Ayodhya movement will be remembered by every Hindu with full respect to the departed soul.
