UN Security Council – Nehru declined seat offered to India; Another untold history revealed

published on November 9, 2010

While the euphoria over Obama’s pledge to support India’s bid for a permanent membership in UN’s security council is still doing rounds in Indian media , Washingtom Post has revealed that “India was offered a permanent seat on the council 55 years ago, in 1955. “But that offer, made by the United States and the Soviet Union, was declined by India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Nehru said the seat should be given to China instead”

This is yet another chapter from History blacked out by our Historians and Nehru sycophants of contemporary India in the same way they covered up Nehru’s folly in other matters like Partition of the Nation, Kashmir issue, China war, Missing of Subhash Chandra Bose and so on. Destiny of our Nation has been written on the very same day when the long waited freedom fell in the hands of power hungry leaders like Nehru who cared more for banquets with Lady Mountbatten rather than the Nation’s interest.
