[GHHF] Maha Padayatra 3 Continues; Hindus must wake up for their own Survival

via Press Release published on October 8, 2009

“We will use only soul-force and never destroy by war or any even defensive employment of physical violence? Good, though until soul-force is effective, the Asuric force in men and nations tramples down, breaks, slaughters, burns, pollutes, as we see it doing today, but then at its ease and unhindered, and you have perhaps caused as much destruction of life by your abstinence as others by resort to violence.”  Sri Aurobindo

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation and Hindu Devalaya Parirakshana Samiti have joined hands to fight for individual liberty, human dignity, collective conscience, preservation of ancient cultures, decency of human worth, and universal understanding.  Both organizations have recognized the danger of loosing Hindu culture because of the policies promulgated by the state and central government of India which have passed Endowment Act, Through this act, all four southern states have adopted the Endowment Act denying all Hindus to manage, preserve and protect their own Hindu Temples and their projects. They have been selling the lands indiscriminately, looting the Temple money broad daylight, demolishing the Hindu Temples with vengeance, appointing Christians and Muslims to the management of Hindu Temples and their educational institutions with revenge, allowing the encroachment of Temple lands with deliberate speed, acquire Temple property for secular purpose methodically and using Temple resources to promote Christianity and Islam gleefully.

The state governments and Central government deliberately, openly, unashamedly, calculatingly, intentionally, and blatantly trampling down the individual rights of Hindus by denying their rights to manage, preserve and protect their culture. They have willfully, knowingly and intentionally denying Hindus their constitutional rights guaranteed in articles 25 and 26 of Indian Constitution.  Not only the right to freedom of religion is guaranteed as fundamental, the constitution specifically prevents the States from making any law regulating or restricting any economic, financial, political or other secular activity which may be associated with religious practice.  Even the High Courts and Supreme Court of India have been slow to react and make proper judicial ruling to scrap the Endowment Act over the last 62 years. They even refuse to implement their own decrees. The Central government is openly ignoring the rulings of the Supreme Court.

Weapons of Mass Destruction

Hindus are equally responsible for the continuation of state and central government’s hostility toward Hindu culture and Hindu Temple and blazon hatred toward Hindu way of life.  Their own ignorance, indifference, negligence, apathy, deception, selfishness, lack of interest, lack of pride, lack of knowledge, lack of zeal, lack of passion and slavish mentality have become the weapons of mass (Hindu) destruction to be used and exploited by the governments. The governments are using our own faults and failures as weapons of mass destruction against our own religion gleefully and cheerfully.  Until all Hindus are awakened to eliminate our failures and rectify our faults, they will be supplying unlimited number of these weapons of mass destruction to the government to destroy and annihilate their own glory and richness of their culture. As Aurobindo implied Hindus are as much responsible for the destruction of their culture as the government because of their negligence in defending it. These weapons should be and must be withdrawn by Hindus if they would like to avoid their own self destruction.

The mission of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation and Hindu Devalaya Parirakshana Samiti is to make all Hindus aware these weapons and how the governments are using so efficiently. Now is the time for Hindus to stop providing these weapons by openly challenging the governments’ right to mange Hindu Temples, and reclaiming their freedom to practice, protect and preserve their own Hindu way of life. If Hindus are providing these weapons, they can stop the supply of these weapons.  Once the government runs out their weapons from their warehouses, they are made powerless. Once they are powerless, Hindus can mange their Temples without any government interference, exploitation and intervention.
