? UPA to stop Vandematarm transmission through All India Radio

New Delhi: There seems to be a concerted move from the side of Congress to stop airing Vande Mataram through All India Radio, as a section of fanatic Muslims issued a fatwa recently against the National song.
Since the start of All India Radio-Vandemataram is aired daily prior to the morning transmission.Now the move is to alter it with ‘Milae Sur Mera Thumara’ by Bhim sen Joshi. Inorder to make this changes it has to be passed by Indian Parliament as Prasar Bharathi is an autonomous body . The file recommending the changes seems to have reached Prime Minister’s office.
