Implement Anti Conversion law – Kerala Highcourt to Kerala Government
Kochi: Kerala High court directed Kerala Government to implement Anti Conversion law in the state. Court observed that it is the responsibility of Government to prevent Conversion by Coercion as any conversion by using force, cheating or allurement is a criminal offence.
Court was considering the bail application of Two Romeo Jihadis in connection with Love Jihad case in which attempts were made to convert 2 girls from Pathanamthitta by Coercion.
Court also made it clear that Government should strictly monitor vested agents utilizing Educational Institutions for Religious propagation.Court also pointed that wide spread conversion is happening in Muslim dominated Kannur,Kasargod and Mallapuram district.
In the report submitted by DGP , it is clear that nearly 100 conversions had been reported recently and in which he had submitted detailed report in 30 cases.       Â
