How long CPM can save Madni & Co ? Soofiya 10th accussed in TN Bus burning case
Kochi: It took nearly Four and a half years and all these Jihad hullabaloo for Kerala Police finally to include Soofiya Madni, Wife of Terrorist Abdul Nasser Madni as 10th accused in Tamilnadu Bus burning case at Kalamassery in 2005 September.
The Kerala police today submitted a report to a court indicting Abdul Nasir Maudany’s wife Sufiya Maudany .PDP terrorist who is also the South India chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba, T. Nazeer is the prime accused in this arson case.
Fearing arrest, Sufiya Friday approached the Kerala High Court for anticipatory bail.Justice K.T.Sankaran said that her petition would be heard Monday but declined her plea that she should not be arrested till then.
To save their face Kerala Police finally included the name of Madni’s wife who pulled strings when Madni was in jail.Though Soofiya’s role was crystal clear in this it was due to the direction of CPM leadership Soofiya was not made an accused.Now the situation is out of control from the hands of Kerala Home Ministry as now the investigation is under the control of Karnataka and NIA.
Apart from Kerala Chief Minister Achuthanandan all CPM leaders were competing themselves to get the blessings of this Terrorist duo even after knowing their antecedents. By giving a red carpet welcome by Kerala Ministers including Home Minister Madni was anointed as the mew apostle of Secularism by CPM eyeing at minority votebank.
