A Leaf from the Past – RSS Ghosh in Republic day Parade in New Delhi
When China attacked India in 1962, Swayamsevaks of the RSS swung into action mobilising support to the governmental measures in general and to the jawans in particular.
Impressed by the patriotism and discipline of swayamsevaks during 1962 Indo- China war, Then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru invited swayamsevaks to take part in Reublic day parade 0f 1963.
At a mere two days’ notice, 3500 Swayamsevaks turned up at the parade in purna Ganavesh Their massive march along with Ghosh became the major highlight of the programme.
These days it is a fashion amongst the Congress and other secular leaders to speak ill about the RSS hoping that it will fetch them more votes. Inspite of the efforts of ‘Secular’ leaders to malign Sangh Pariwar- The Nationalistic organisation is continuing their selfless journey to protect their Motherland and Culture with the silent blessings of millions of patriots.Â
