V Giri of the Kerala High Court inaugurated 97^th Ayroor-Cherukolppuzha Hindu meet on the sand-bed of Pampa at Vidyadhiraja Nagar (Ayroor) near
Kozhenchery.


Swami
Chidanandapuri of Kulathur Ashramam presided over the function.

 

The
meet will be held from February 1 to 8.

Hinduism is more than a religion,
rather a way of life. The more you study about Hinduism it will take you into depths
philosophy. Hindutva can accommodate various schools of thoughts and enriches the
philosophy by combining these thoughts, even if they are conflicting! That is
the beauty of Hinduism, Told Justice V Giri in his inaugural speech.

 

Only by following the Dharmic
way of life there will be prosperity to whole world and for the existence of world
order , Hinduism is necessary. One should try to learn Dharma through Sceince and
Knowledge. Combination of Brahma Thejas and Kshatra Veeryam (Knowledge and Power)
will take us to prosperity and Victory – This is the message of Bhagvad Githa –
Told Swami Chidanandapuri in his address.

The Swami said that
the Human Resources Development Ministry’s move to make the madrasa
education equivalent to the CBSE course would have disastrous
consequences.

Hindu Aikyavedi general secretary Kummanam
Rajasekharan questioned the authority of the Devaswom Minister to give
details of the income and expenses of a temple while representing a
secular government. Kummanam alleged that the move to interfere in
religious beliefs and temple customs was part of a larger conspiracy.

Hindu Soceity in Kerala is

Sreemad Bhagavatham at 10.30 a.m. on February 2.

 

 The youth meet to be held at 3 p.m. on
February 4 will be inaugurated by Higher Education secretary Raju
Narayanaswamy.

 

 Hindu Aikyavedi president K P Sasikala Teacher
will deliver a discourse at 7 p.m.The Hindu religious meet to be held at 4 p.m.
on February 5 will be inaugurated by former Union Minister O Rajagopal.

 

Bharateeya
Vichara Kendram director P Param-eswaran and Hindu Aikyavedi general secretary
Kummanam Rajasekharan will deliver discourses.

 

Union
Minister Vayalar Ravi will inaugurate the `acharya anusmaranam’  meet at 3
p.m. on February 6.  Scientist Dr Gopalakrishnan will deliver a discourse
at 7 p.m. The women’s meet to be held at 3 pm on February 7 will be inaugurated
by poet Sugathakumari.

 

Water
Resources Minister N K Premachandran will inaugurate the valedictory function
to be held at 3 p.m. on February 8. Swami Bhoomananda Theertha will preside
over the function. Former Chief Secretary R Ramachandran Nair will deliver the
key-note address.

 

Mata
Amritanandamayi Math general secretary Swami Poornamritanandapuri will lead the
sarvaiswarya pooja to be held at 7 p.m.
