155th Birthday of Gurudevan to be celebrated today
T’PURAM: Kerala today witnesses celebrations of the 155th birth centenary of spiritual leader and social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. Gorgeous celebrations are arranged at Chempazanthy, the birthplace of Gurudevan, and Sivagiri where he attained Samadhi. Pageant, Jayanti (birthday) Sammelanam, Matha Sauharda Sammelanam (assembly on religious harmony) will be conducted under the aegis of various Sree Narayana Organizations. Celebrations would also be conducted under the direction of SNDP (Sree Narayana Guru was the Patron and life time President of the Yogam.) unions, shakhas and gurumandhirs.
