10 lakh people to attend AOL’S Sivarathri fete in Kollam

KOLLAM:
Around 10 lakh people, including many from abroad, are expected to
participate in the Mahasivarathri celebrations here, led by Guruji Sri Sri Ravisankar on February 23.
This will be the first Mahasivarathri celebrations conducted outside
the Art of Living Ashram, Bangalore, participated by Guruji.

The celebrations will be held at Asramom
Maidan here. A grand welcome will be accorded to Guruji, who will reach
here at 1.30 p.m. on February 22. He will be in the district till February 26.

On the day, he will conduct a mass social
marriage of 52 couples. A total of Rs 60,000 each will be spent for the
couples in the form of dress, fixed deposits, gold ornaments, etc.

At 6 a.m. on February 23, Guruji will
lead Mahasudarsanakriya at the Maidan and the admissions will be
restricted to those who have done the basic course of Art of Living.

In the same venue, he will perform
Maharudrabhisheka pooja at 5.30 p.m. More than 1,000 couples from
various parts of the country will participate in the Sankalpa pooja
related to it. The pooja will be followed by satsang, meditation and
anandolsavam.
