Yuva Morcha would stage a march and dharna in front of the Pushpagiri College complex at Kozhacherry on June 15 in protest against the management policy. Yuva Morcha State president K Surendran told reporters here on Tuesday that the Government had ‘miserably failed’ in solving the imbroglio on the issue of admission and free structure in Self Financing Professional Colleges in the State.

He said that Yuva Morch would not allow the self- financing professional colleges, run by minority communities, to function unless a 50:50 ratio of admission was enforced.

On the proposed dharna by DYFI in Guruvayur on June 18 for changing the customs and observance of rites in the temples in Kerala, Surendran said the DYFI should avoid using the famous Guruvayur temple for political gains.

Pointing out that there were certain practices like not allowing Muslim women in mosques and non-implementation of succession law in Christian community, he said DYFI should also fight for the entry of Muslim women in the mosques and discrimination against women in Christian community in over inheritance.
