PALAKKAD: Yuva Morcha activists took out a march to the Sinai meditation centre in Mundur on Thursday demanding an inquiry into the source of funds and an examination of the bank accounts of the institution.
The march was inaugurated by the BJP district general secretary C Krishnakumar.
Speakers at the meeting pointed out that there were also complaints that many people from the lower strata of the society belonging to the Hindu religion were being induced for conversion.
TThe Yuva Morcha also demanded a probe into this aspect.
Upasana Madom Yuva Morcha activists also took out a march to the Upasana Madom in Jainimedu near here on Thursday demanding an inquiry into the source of funds.
They said that the Madom was selling amulets and other materials so that it could help in increasing wealth.
The Yuva Morcha activists were blocked near the entrance of the Madom by the police.
Some activists of the Morcha scaled the compound wall of the Madom and placed flags inside it.
The meet held later was inaugurated by BJP state committee member N Sivarajan.
BJP district general secretary C Krishnakumar and Yuva Morcha district president P Sabu were also present
