Women should take active role to fight against the adverse impacts of globalisation

KOZHIKODE: Ms. Nirmala Apthe, National Organizing Secretary of Bharathiya Sthree Sakthi called for active participation of women in the national struggle against the adverse impacts of the globalisation. Women are worst hit by globalisation. So, naturally women’s role is essential.


 


She was addressing a seminar on CHALLENGES OF GLOBALISATION AND WOMEN COMMUNITY at Kozhikode. The seminar was conducted by Sthreechethana.


Consumerism, unhealthy competition, commercialisation, etc. have made human life terrible. Gloalisation leads the country to erosion of values, social commitment, etc.


 


Prof. O.J. Chinnamma, Prez, Ladies’s Wing of Anti Booze Samithi presided. Sthreechethana Gen. Secy Dr. K.S. Jayasree and Progme Convenor B. Deepa participated.
