A visionary leader, of impeccable credibility and caliber.

Well respected across the state for the strength of his contributions to the welfare of the state, without any consideration of party, religion, caste or region.

He did not represent a constituency in Kerala nor did he represent his home state at Rajyasabha. Still, when he became the Minister of state for Railway and Parliamentary affairs in Vajpayee’s cabinet he has done much more than his predecessors, for his home state. A series of definite and constructive measures has made him a household name in Kerala. His developmental initiatives, especially in the field of Railways & Urban development has gone down well with the public of Kerala, and they consider him as their true leader beyond any doubt, of admirable will and strength in value based politics.
