Vellapally revives hopes for Hindu Unity

KOCHI: SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan revived hopes for Hindu unity here while addressing the inaugural session of Hindu Economic Forum.

It is high time the entire Hindu community in the state became unified.The members of the majority community go blind when they reach the polling booth.While Hindu votes get divided Minority communities put pressure on the political parties by becoming a consolidated force, said Vellappally. A major share of the revenue collected by the state exchequer is going to those belonging to the minority communities. Irrational allotment of educational institutions to the minority communities resulted in wide spread inequality.

Without any doubt O Rajagopal, BJP candidate contesting in the Neyyattinkara byelection will garner a major share of votes this time around.But he haven’t made clear the official stand of SNDP. “The SNDP Yogam has not taken a stand yet,” he said.

Hindu Economic Forum president L Gopakumar presided over the function. Forum secretary K R Sajeev, Mata Amritanandamayi Math international general secretary Swami Purnamritananda Puri and Sree Ramadasa Mission Chenkottukonam Math head Swami Sathyananda Theertha also spoke.
