Tsunami Scandal by priest exposed by nun!!

December 26 th 2004, the whole world was shocked by seeing the miseries left over by Tsunami ,It’s going to be one year , but still the treachery and false promises of Govt. and NGO’s in India to the poor fisherman who lost everything  continues.

In Kerala many controversies came up after Tsunami, All regarding Tsunami Rehabilitation.The misuse of Relief fund was the main topic,The warnings of Lokayuktha to Kerala govt., The exposure of misuse of collected relief fund by Muslim league etc are the few.

Now a nun, Sr Cecily plathottam came up with a new allegation against Father  Thomas Kochery.Sr Cecily is secretary of world forum of fisher people(WFFFP). Father Thomas Kochery a special invitee  of WFFP.

Sr Cecily, now under police protection  alleges that Fr Kochery had received more than Rs 100 crore from various foreign funding agencies for the rehabilitation of tsunami-affected fishermen. “However, he is not ready to clarify as to what he did with this money,” she said. She added that Mr Herman Kumara, general secretary of WFFP, was diverting the money to his personal account under the direction of Thomas Kochery. She added that since she was speaking about the misuse of money flowing into these NGOs, she was facing threat from many corners.

When these missionaries were busy pooling foriegn money for their on purposes, the whole media forgot even to mention the silent works undertaken by Swayamsevaks under sevabharathi and many houses were built and given by Sevabharathi which was handed over by RSS Sarsanghchalak Sudarsan.

Amrithanandamayi’s offer to help was even rejected in the initial stages by kerala govt.to give chances to missionaries  to sponsor conversion in the name of this calamity .First anniversary of Tsunami is near by and we can see more political stunts and dramas which is now being rehearsed for 26 th December 2005.
