Three Murders in two days in Kerala’s capital

Vattiyoorkavu: RSS worker Krishnakumar alias Biju(24) who was murdered on Friday 1st December on the streets is the latest victim of CPM brutality in Thiruvananthapuram dist. Vattiyoorkavu is a place where for the past several
years, the CPM has targeted the workers of it’s ideological enemy, the
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.


 


Especially in places coming under the jurisdiction of the Vattiyoorkavu police station like Kodunganoor, Tittamangalam, Mullanchani etc. in Thiruvananthapuram dist. witnessed three murders within consecutive past two days. In the past three years, there were 15 murders of this nature, whereby the victims were below 30 years.


 


In the case of Biju’s murder, there is a past history of revenge behind it, About one and half years ago some workers of the Kerala Dalit Panthers party who had joined the CPM, tried to molest the sister of a sangh karyakarta. When the sangh members under the leadership of Shibu questioned this incident, he was attacked and wounded by CPM thugs from Mullanchani near Kodunganoor in Vattiyoorkavu. In retaliation two DYFI workers were attacked at Malayinkeezh and Kunnupara.


 

After this incident about 3 months ago at Tittamangalam, 8 houses were destroyed and vandalised by  the CPM goondas and a sangh worker’s father was attacked and injured. As a series, the CITU office at Kodunganoor was vandalised and one CPM worker was attacked. Biju was falsely implicated in this case. Although peace talks were held under the guidance of Peroorkada circle inspector, the results bore no fruits
