THIRD FRONT NEED OF THE HOUR :Brahmashri Satchidhananda Swami

It is high time that there should be an active presence of the majority
community in the state assembly for safeguarding the interests of the Hindus, according to Brahmashri Satchidananda Swamikal, Head of the Gayathri Ashram, Chalakkudy.
Speaking to HK after the conclusion of the three-day “Sri Narayana Divya Prabhodhanam and Dhyanam” near Chottanikkara on Sunday, Brahmashri Swamigal said that there had not been any MLA to speak for the Hindus in the Assembly. The so-called Hindu legislators elected and sent to the state assembly by the Hindus had been reticent when issues relating to the majority community comes up.

Whereas, the needs and interests of the minority communities are
safeguarded not only by the representatives belonging to their respective religious groups but also by the Hindu MLAs. “For them speaking for their own community becomes non-secular”.
Given this scenario, it has become inevitable for the Hindus to create a third front and put up candidates and get them elected to the house in the next elections. “In fact, if five MLAs belonging to the majority community were in the Assembly the rulers would not dare to ignore the community”, he said.
But, this could be achieved only through Hindu unity, and hence it has become the need of the hour. But, unfortunately, some of the leaders of the majority community do not seem to have realised the importance of forging out such a unity and setting up a united front. “If they failed to understand it now their future generations would suffer as indications have already started emanating in the state of the impending predicament”, he added.
