via HK published on July 8, 2006

Kozhikode: RSS has decided to intensify their agitation against the CPM’s undemocratic rules in the state. 13th of this month will be observed as Protest Day in all over the state against the arrest of Valsan Thillankeri. Thousands of activists of various Hindu organizations will be marched to the Secratariate on 13th.  BJP has also decided to participate in the march.

While briefing to the Media, RSS Prantha Samparka Pramukh Shri. Sridharan told reporters that Valsan Thillankeri is one of the senior activists of Hindutva activities in North Kerala. Hence a decision has been taken by the CPM-NDF nexus long back to eliminate Thillankeri but due to Police protection they could not succeed on that till date. The involvement of Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishan in this arrest is very clear.

When the NDF activist Yakoob was killed, Valsan Thillankeri was attending a function with two Police guards, said Shri. Sridharan.

RSS Saha Kariyavah K.P. Radhakrishan, Hindu Aikiya Vedi state secretary P.K. Sahadevan, Bharateeya Vidhyanikeetan state committee member P. Ananthan and BMS secretary Sasidharan were participated in the press conference.
