Terrorists outfits operate in Ernakulam District

Kochi: Terrorist training centres operates unchecked in Koonammavu, near North Parur in a tiny village Valluvalli.

Terrorists of banned SIMI who joined hands with NDF Terrorists are behind this centres which may pose threat to whole state and especially to proposed Smart City.

Central/state intelligence agencies carried out enquiries in Vedimara, Manjali, Kunnukara and Vaniyakkad. As per Intelligence reports the activities are centred in a mosque between Parur and Varappuzha, on the NH 17. Young recruits from Thrissur and Ernakulam districts are getting training in gun battle and bomb making. They are provided with jobs in the nearby places along with the training. This is to make the affairs suspicion free.

They go for work in the morning and come back in the evening and undergo training in the night. This is to avoid the attention of the local population.
