Terrorism the greatest threat : Dattathreya Hosabale

KASARGOD: RSS All-India Saha Boudhik Pramukh Dattathreya Hosabale has said that the greatest threat that the country was facing was terrorism and it was now assuming monstrous proportion.

Addressing the Virad Hindu Sammelan at the Karanthakkad Maidan on Sunday, the RSS leader said that the religious schools in the country, which were supposed to impart religious education, were training terrorists.

He said the government was spending a huge amount for the benefit of the minorities and if this practice continued the minorities would become powerful and the majority would become weak and disintegrated.

The RSS leader said that the first Congress Government which came into power at the Centre by invoking the names of Mahatma Gandhi and Vinobha failed to implement the election promise of banning cow slaughter and religious conversion. He said the country has not so far banned these two.

Kesavananda Swamy of the Edaneer Mutt inaugurated the Hindu Sammelan.

Dr K Mukund of the Omega Hospital, Mangalore, presided over the function.

Kalahasthendra Swamy of Katpady, Ramananda Swamy of Kolya and Kondevar Yogananda Swamy blessed the sammelan. Valsan Thillankeri, vibhag prachar pramukh of the RSS, Kannur, also addressed the Hindu meet.
