Terror plot busted,18 Jehadis arrested from Kerala

Kochi: In a massive raid here today Kerala Police busted a Jehadi group and arrested 18 Islamic terrorist.They were assembled in a Auditorium at Binanipuram near Kochi. Police raid was based on specific intelligence reports about this anti-nationals. An Islamic cleric was also present among those arrested.


 


Police recovered CD’s,Pamphlets and Books inciting hatred towards Hindus and India. Police also recovered correspondences from Jihadistan from them. Unexpected raid happened when all the Jehadis met there to organise a terrorist attack in the state. Police have recovered their mobile phones and investigations are in progress. They have been arrested under Section 153A IPC and Section 10 and 13 (1) (B) (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act).


 


As per the Police authorities, the arrested terrorists were the members of banned terrorist’s organization SIMI and presently active with NDF. The arrested activists, who are in their thirties, are hailing from various parts of the state, they said


 


NDF was trying to divert the police attention by conducting freedom parades all over the state and never expected such a raid will happen today,as police was busy with Independence day security.
