Temple Priest submit resignation following Devaswom’s Torture

Karunagapally: A TemplePriest resigned from the post, following continued torture of Devaswom Board.

 

Srikumar (26) who also have a post graduate degree opted to continue the traditional job as Temple priest. Srikumar was in the bad books of Devaswom authorities as he denied giving monthly bribe to the officers. He also exposed the corruption of Devaswom officers in which Temple offerings were diverted for their personal gains.

 

As he questioned the Devaswom’s corruption the authorities decide to teach him a lesson by transferring from one temple to other every one to two months. Fed up with this mental torture Sri Kumar succumbed to their pressure tactics and submitted resignation.
