Kochi: VHP warned against any move to transfer Sree Padmanabha Swamy’s ornaments and wealth to any museum. VHP State General Secretary Kalady Manikandan, was responding to the moves by Archaeology Department Superindent K K Muhammed’s and Ananda Bose of National Museum.

Those who cannot protect the valuables already in these museums are advocating for this. Don’t get enthused by seeing the wealth of Lord and don’t dream to divert it for the benefit of habitual looters in this country who believe Minorities in this country have first right in Nation’s resources.

What has been so far recovered are not any unknown treasures but pooja vessels, Dieties Vigrahas, crowns , gold offerings etc which has donated to Lord Padmanabha Swamy by his devotees. These all are not some exhibitory items to be placed in any museum but should stay in temple itself, opined VHP leader.
