Kozhikode: Hindu students taking vrutham for Sabarimala pilgrimage was barred from entering a Government school here for wearing Black Dhothi as part of the austerity one should follow as part of the pilgrimage. This Hindu bashing was happened in Beypore Govt. High School in Kozhikode.

Due to timely intervention of staunch Hindus and Ayappa devotees under Hindu organisations the Students were allowed to attend classes with the holy dress.

The School authorities who opposed this citing uniform regulation are silent when Muslim girls wear Veil and Boys wearing their cap throughout the year! It’s a problem to the school’s reputation only when Hindu’s wear their holy symbols during this Sabarimala pilgrimage time!
