Strengthen the Capabilities to Confront Local and Global Threats to the Nation : Army Chief

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : At a ceremony at Sainik School at Kazhakuttam, General J.J. Singh, Chief of the  Indian Army warned that domestic issues are being exploited by domestic terrorist organizations with global links and aims. There are several terrorist organizations operating in India with ideological and operational agenda driven solely by externally defined imperatives. Foreign powers are exerting pressure on India and exploiting domestic social issues in collusion with subversive agents. Indian Army is ready to face any challenges confronting India, says General J.J. Singh. General J.J. singh and his wife were visiting Sainik School at Kazhakuttam. He placed a floral wreath at the war memorial at the school. He also placed a garland at the statue  of Colonel Jayachandran Nair who was murdered by Christian terrorists in Nagaland while serving in Nagaland. General Singh also released a souvenir on Colonel Jayachandran Nair.
