Having tasted just a bit of the Goonda politics of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President, Mr Ramesh Chennithala has today asked their partner in New Delhi government to stop criminalization of politics and and terror politics and end violation of democratic rights.

He told his party’s friend in Delhi and foe in Kerala, the CPI(M) that the Congress wanted to establish peace in Kannur district had many political killings. “There should be a situation where every party could work in peace. In the party’s villages where the CPM has a sway, the other parties should be allowed to work . Election work should be made smooth and peaceful”, he said at a press conference.

According to Mr Ramesh “local body elections were held in a situation where the officials were provided with insurance cover, which has never happened in the history of Kerala. This situation has to be changed”.
